Around 40 kilometres from the administrative centre of the Khargone district, in the vicinity of the Bhagwanpura police station, vandals damaged the idols at a Hanuman temple in Pipaljhopa.
As soon as the locals learned that the idols had been broken into pieces, they flocked to the temple throughout the night.
An investigation is being conducted to identify the criminal, and a large police presence has been established in the area.
“The idol has been vandalised,” stated Dharamveer Singh, superintendent of police. The hunt for him is still on.
