The country’s inflation and unemployment were growing under the BJP, and the populace was being targeted by divisive politics, according to KT Rama Rao.
According to KT Rama Rao, the BJP was increasing the country’s inflation and unemployment while also dividing the public.
He said that the BJP-led union government was plundering the nation’s poor while lining the pockets of corporations, noting that under the BJP, unemployment and inflation were on the rise and that the populace was the focus of divisive politics. Before Narendra Modi, 14 Prime Ministers had amassed debt totaling Rs 56 lakh crore, but only under Modi’s administration was debt totaling Rs 100 crore incurred, he said, adding that the BJP government was unable to name even one significant accomplishment in its eight years in office.
The IT and Industries Minister said that, aside from Adani, who benefited under the BJP’s leadership, the rest of the people in the country were concerned about the rising costs of necessities when speaking to a crowd at Jammikunta in Karimnagar, the hometown of both Sanjay and Rajender.
By 2022, Modi had pledged to quadruple farmers’ incomes, create two crore jobs annually, and deposit Rs. 15 lakh into each Jan Dhan account, according to him.
“Ignore keeping these commitments. Now, the hard-earned money of the people is going into the account of just one person,” Rama Rao stated.
Contribution of BJP State Leaders questioned
The BRS working president criticised Bandi Sanjay and Huzurabad MLA Eatala Rajender for their failures to get funding and project approval for Telangana, claiming that BJP leaders had promised the State development but that not a single project had been given the go-ahead.
Rajender said that the BJP will push for the approval of new roads and development in Huzurabad, raise pensions to Rs 3,000, and persuade union Home Minister Amit Shah during the Huzurabad byelection. The Industries Minister said that despite trying for 14 months, he had been unable to provide even a single rupee to his constituency for construction projects.
angered by Eatala
Taking Rajender to task for his criticism of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s administration, he said the BJP MLA should remember that in 2004, when 33 candidates were shortlisted for the MLA ticket, Rajender was chosen despite his lack of experience and introduced to the public by the Chief Minister. He lamented Rajender’s subsequent backstabbing of the Chief Minister.
The Minister responded to a BJP MLA’s assertion that the State was in danger under the Chief Minister’s administration by stating that Telangana was extending Rythu Bandhu, providing free power, and guaranteeing the welfare of all sectors. On the other hand, during the 13-month protest in New Delhi, 700 farmers had died. He questioned whose administration posed a threat to the country and said that Narendra Modi was the first prime minister to impose a five percent GST on handlooms.
“Would you prefer the Gujarat Government, which pays a pension of Rs. 700, or the BRS Government, which offers a pension of Rs. Do you prefer CM KCR garu, who sells KCR Kits and Kalyana Lakshmi, or Modi, who raised gas cylinder costs from Rs 400 to Rs 1200? Rama Rao demanded while also asking
He emphasised that although the party’s name had changed, its DNA remained the same and that it was now committed to fly its flag in Maharashtra, Karnataka, and other States. He claimed that BRS was created by and for the people.
While the crowd whistled, Sanjay added, “I’m delighted to be the slave of Gujarat, but the people of Karimnagar or Telangana were not interested in dancing to the songs of a Gujarati celebration.”
“The last time, it was an error. You will be approached once more by Bandi Sanjay and Eatala Rajender who will be using the sentiment card along with a variety of political ploys. But this time, make a good decision and support growth, Rama Rao said.
