Washington: Bill Gates, a co-founder of Microsoft, appears to have found love once more. According to a US-based media outlet called People Magazine, Bill Gates is dating Paula Hurd, the late Mark Hurd’s widow. Hewlett-former Packard’s CEO and the CEO of the software business Oracle was Mark Hurd. In 2019, he passed away.
Paula Hurd hasn’t yet met Bill Gates’ children, despite the fact that their relationship is well-known, a source told People Magazine.
At the Australian Open last month’s Men’s Singles Final, Gates and Hurd were seen sitting next to each other. Gates and his ex-wife Melinda French Gates announced their divorce after 27 years of marriage, and the announcement comes almost two years later. Their divorce was formally finalized in August 2021.
Three children, Jennifer (26), Phoebe (20), and Rory (23), were born to Bill and Melinda. According to a source close to People Magazine, Jennifer is expecting her first child with her husband Nayel Nassar and is “expected any day.” After 27 years of marriage, Bill and Melinda announced their separation in May 2021, stating that “we no longer think we can develop together as a couple in this next period of our life.”
The pair did clarify that they will keep cooperating at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
The foundation said at the time that it was preparing a two-year trial phase to evaluate if the two could continue to collaborate successfully. CEO Mark Suzman stated that French Gates will leave as co-chair and trustee “if after two years either determine they cannot continue to work together as co-chairs.”
Following the first divorce announcement, Gates was accused of having engaged in dubious professional behavior during his early years at Microsoft.
