Declares that the party opposes the BJP’s privatisation strategy and reiterates its support for the nation
Hyderabad: In his first speech following the Bharat Rashtra Samithi’s official launch, party president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao launched salvo after salvo against the Narendra Modi-led Central government, claiming that the BRS supported nationalisation as opposed to the BJP’s policy of privatisation.
Chandrashekhar Rao outlined the party’s plans for the nation, challenging Modi to move forward with his plans to privatise public sector entities like the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and the Life Insurance Corporation of India. These plans include providing free electricity to farmers, covering all of India’s energy needs within two years, and providing Dalit Bandhu financial assistance to 25 lakh families annually nationwide.
