Homegrown luxury hair care brand Hair Originals has raised $1.25 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Anicut Capital, Kesh Kala Family Office, JITO Angel Network (JAN), Lets Venture, Dexter Angels, Pankaj Chaddah, Ex Co-founder Zomato and Ahana Gautam, Founder, Open Secret.
The brand aims to utilize the raised capital to scale its business operations by four times and achieve Rs 100 crore ARR by the end of 2024. It also aims to expand its presence to 25 cities in PAN India with experience centres across five major cities and introduce its D2C services in the US market.

Hair Originals, founded in 2019, was one of the startups that presented its case on Shark Tank India and received offers from all of the sharks.
It currently exports its products to more than 22 countries, including top luxury salons in the United States, Europe, and Africa.
