Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, president of the YSR Congress and chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, urged party members to unite and reach out to all eligible people to assist them in receiving welfare benefits in order for the YSRC to retake power by winning all 175 assembly seats in the upcoming elections.
On Wednesday, the leader of the YSR Congress met with party members from the Vijayawada East assembly district at his camp office. Speaking at the event, he informed the audience that he was meeting party activists assembly-by-assembly since the party will be running for office in the upcoming 14 to 15 months. “Reach out to everyone who was eligible for the assistance programmes but was not able to take use of them. Jagan exhorted party members to accept their blessings.
The party president said that they are hiring YSRC convenors, one for every 50–70 households, as well as Gruhasaradhulu, with at least one woman in each team. He said that because they are locals, the Gruhasaradhulu would be aware of others who have not benefited and will help them with their difficulties.
So that people who missed out on the programme might reapply, the chief minister stated that their government is authorising rewards to extra recipients twice a year. He emphasised how approximately 88 percent of homes in AP had received assistance from the government. In addition to the sarpanch positions in the state, he said, “this has helped us win more than 80% seats in municipalities, including Kuppam; mandal praja parishads; mandal and zilla parishad territorial constituencies.
The party has fared better in successive elections, according to Jagan Mohan Reddy, even in the Vijayawada East Constituency, which chose the opposition party’s MLA. With such an effort, he expressed confidence, YSRC will be able to win all 175 Assembly seats in the upcoming elections.
The YSRC head emphasised the need of making change evident everywhere while highlighting how hospitals and schools are receiving upgrades while still offering high-quality care and education. Farming is being facilitated by RBKs. The idea of a family doctor will also be fully implemented by the upcoming Ugadi.
“I beg that you all take the next elections very seriously,” Jagan Mohan Reddy said. We shall rule Andhra Pradesh for the following 30 years if we win them. For the next three decades, this will enable us to offer the people with decent governance.
The YSRC chairman insisted that even in the face of financial difficulties, they are giving welfare assistance to everyone who qualifies. He warned that it would be a serious error if party members didn’t make an effort to connect with people. He gave party members the mandate to visit every home, ask for people’s blessings, and gain their favour.
