Sangareddy: On Tuesday morning, a truck carrying a shipment of rice caught fire in the Shivvampet neighborhood in Chowtakur Mandal.
Locals said that the lorry’s tyre exploded as it was moving at a high rate of speed, igniting a fire that quickly spread inside the vehicle.
A large portion of the vehicle was also destroyed, and the load of rice was turned to ashes.
The vehicle was transporting the grains from Nanded to Miryalguda.
