Kothagudem: On Monday around midnight, a young man and his sister were killed in a car accident at the Regalla crossroads in the Laxmidevipalli mandal of the district, while another person was hurt.
On a motorcycle, the dead Nakirikanti Neeraj (27), N Niharika (23), and another woman were travelling from Paloncha to Kothagudem when the event occurred. It was unclear how the accident occurred. The wounded woman was taken to the hospital.
While Neeraj worked as a sales advisor at a car showroom, Niharika just received an appointment with TCS and was scheduled to begin work on Wednesday. The siblings, who live in Kothagudem’s Babu Camp neighbourhood, lost their parents many years ago.
