Akshaya Nandigama, batting for Hyderabad, blasted an unbroken century (124 no.) and claimed two wickets for 11, leading Hyderabad to a commanding 194-run victory against Mizoram in the U-15 BCCI Women One-Day Cricket Tournament on Sunday at Bhilai, Chhattisgarh.
Hyderabad scored 266/3 in 35 overs while batting first, aided by Akshaya’s unbeaten 124 (17×4, 2×6) and K Nidhi’s half-century (83).
Later, Sai Thanu, Aasthsa Sharma, and Akshaya each took two wickets to help their team reach the finish line by holding Mizoram to 72/8 in the allotted 35 overs. Sandhia secured two wickets for Mizoram, good for 61 runs.
