The Andhra Pradesh Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams will begin on April 3, 2023, in VIJAYAWADA. Six subjects will be covered in the tests, which would be given everyday from 9.30 am to 12.45 pm.
According to S Sureshkumar, commissioner of school education, 6,60,859 kids have registered for the tests. Students may still submit applications beyond the deadline of December 24 by paying late fees of Rs 50 through Dec. 29, Rs 200 through Jan. 2, and Rs 500 through Jan. 9.
Exams for the first language paper-1 (group-A) and first language paper-1 (composite course) will be held on April 3. Exams for the second language paper, English, Mathematics, and Social Studies will be held on April 6, First language paper-2 (composite course), and OSSC main language will be held on April 8, and on April 15, respectively April 17: paper -1 (Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian).
On April 18, the final exams for the OSSC Main Language Paper-2 (Sanskrit, Arabic, and Persian) and the SSC Vocational Course (Theory) will be held.
According to the commissioner, pupils from KGBV schools and the PH category are exempt from test fees. The government will take strong action if schools took in too much money from pupils for the SSC examinations.
SSC Exams-2023 shall be held precisely according to schedule, without any changes, according to director of government examinations D Devananda Reddy, even if the government declares a public holiday or general vacation in relation to any date(s) included in the time-table.
He said that both applicants for the SSC academic course and OSSC course take the same academic course subjects and papers.
