Adari Tulasi Rao, the chairman of Visakha Dairy, was laid to rest with floral tributes from the chief minister, YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
Yelamanchili (Anakapalli District): On Thursday, Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy presented floral tributes to the cremated remains of Adari Tulasi Rao, the chairman of Visakha Dairy.
In addition to comforting the grieving family members, the Chief Minister, who had travelled from Tadepalli, also talked to Tulasi Rao’s wife and son Adari Anand, the YSRCP’s Visakhapatnam West constituency coordinator.
On Wednesday, Tulasi Rao, 84, passed away in a private hospital in Hyderabad. This morning, his body was taken to his apartment.
He was raised in a farming family and was elected chairman of Visakha Cooperative Dairy in 1986. He worked hard to improve the dairy’s production from 50,000 to 10 lakh litres per day.
