An Argentine visitor who had travelled to the Taj Mahal and tested positive for COVID-19 on December 26 has since vanished. Dr. Arun Kumar Srivastava, chief medical officer (CMO) for Agra, announced this on Wednesday. according to a news report from ANI.

Samples from the visitor were taken during screening at the Taj Mahal, and after testing positive for an antigen, he was denied access to the monument’s grounds. According to Dr. Srivastava, the foreign visitor gave the authorities and police the wrong contact information, and they are trying to find him.

“On December 26, a foreign visitor who had come to see the Taj Mahal tested positive for Covid. He was not permitted to access the monument after testing positive for the antigen. premises. He provided us the erroneous phone number and address. With the assistance of the local authorities, police, ASI, and close-by hotels, we are attempting to locate him in order to learn more about the missing individual, ” he stated.

At the Taj Mahal on December 25, a guy who had just returned from China was discovered to test positive for COVID-19.

“A corona patient who has just returned from China was also discovered in Agra. Genome sequencing on the material has been submitted to Lucknow. Because he is Chinese, genome sequencing is crucial. He arrived in India on December 22 and arrived in Agra on December 23. We’re looking into his contacts. The individual has not interacted with as many individuals as he did throughout his youth.Since his arrival, he has spent most of his time in the room,” Dr. Srivastava had added.

An warning has been issued in India as well because to the COVID-19 outbreak that has spread to various nations, including China. Following the Center’s instructions, testing has increased at the Agra airport, bus stops, and train station.
