At the time of the disaster, the three were traveling back from a gathering at Bombaiguda hamlet in Penchikalpet mandal.
Byram Kumram Asifabad: A two-wheeler was struck by a tractor on the fringes of Marthidi village in Bejjur mandal on Sunday night, leaving two people dead and another injured.
According to Bejjur Sub-Inspector Venkatesh, the deceased were Dandera Babaji (60), a resident of Maharashtra, and Elluri Lingaiah (45), a resident of Thikkapalli. Bujadi Babaji, a resident of the hamlet of Papanpet, was hurt.
When the tractor hit the motorbike they were on, Lingaiah and Babaji suffered fatal head injuries. While being transported to a hospital in Kaghaznagar, they passed away. According to reports, Bujadi Babaji’s status is stable.

The accident was thought to have been caused by the tractor driver Akram’s aggressive and careless driving. Against the driver, a complaint was filed.
