Top police officials, including DGPs and IGPs from every state, will congregate in Delhi starting on January 20 for a three-day meeting.
A three-day meeting in Delhi would be attended by senior police officers, including the Director General of Police (DGP) and Inspector General of Police (IGP) from every state. Senior police officers are attending the all-India summit to develop methods for reducing crime.
The conference will also include senior personnel from various intelligence agencies. Sources claim that a mechanism would be developed to stop significant cyberattacks on prestigious institutes like AIIMS.
There will be further efforts developed to stop large drug deals from occurring and to catch traffickers. Security around the shore would receive special attention, they said.
At the meeting, the topic of putting a stop to terrorist gangs will also be covered.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend the conference.
On the topics decided upon in the meeting, all officials will give their opinions, and coordinated action will be done throughout the nation.
