Instead of a stainless steel frame, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will have a titanium one for enhanced durability and a more upscale appearance.

Briefly said, the iPhone 15 models will have “faster CPUs,” albeit the exact phrase is yet unknown.

Apple could refer to it as the A17 Bionic chip, which is the A16 Bionic chip’s successor.

The A17 Bionic processor, however, could only be able to power the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max.

Author: Abhik Sengupta The notch design on Apple’s next iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models is called Dynamic Island. The next iPhones, expected to debut in September or October, will include a Type-C connector as well for charging because of the EU’s requirement for universal charging solutions, according to well-known Apple analyst and Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. Instead of a stainless steel frame, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will have a titanium one to give them a more upscale appearance. Titanium is also stronger and somewhat lighter than steel. It is utilised in many high-end timepieces because it is less likely to react with oxygen.

Gurman states in his most recent Power On email that the newest iPhone 15 models would have “faster CPUs,” but the name of the component is still unknown. Apple could refer to it as the A17 Bionic processor, which is the replacement for the A16 Bionic chip seen in iPhone 14 Pro versions. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Max models, however, could include the exclusive A16 chipset. The email further emphasises that haptic buttons will take the place of traditional volume rockers on the iPhone 15 Pro.

It implies that Apple will eliminate a further set of physical iPhone buttons. Apple eliminated the traditional SIM card slot and made e-SIM capability available on all iPhone 14 models last year. This modification, nevertheless, is only applicable to the US market. According to reports, both the vanilla and more recent Pro models will include a Dynamic Island notch. On the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, Apple debuted this technology, which breaks up the monotony of previous notches and hole-punch cuts on numerous Android phones. Depending on the alerts, the Dynamic Island notch’s size might fluctuate. Users may monitor privacy indications, low battery alerts, AirDrop transfers, and notifications for Apple Pay transactions. In the past, it was said that every iPhone 15 new models will have better cameras.

The most recent Power On email emphasises that 2023 will be a lacklustre year for Apple aside from the iPhone 15 variants. The company’s long-awaited mixed-reality headgear is likely to be its most significant introduction to yet. According to rumours, Apple will unveil its mixed-reality headset before June’s WWDC 2023. Most likely, it won’t be on sale until later this year.

Gurman anticipates the release of new MacBooks and Mac Pros equipped with the most recent M2 chipset revisions, but no architectural modifications. The analyst anticipates similar results for future iPad generations.
