Additionally, the Palanadu police found Rs. 10 lakh in their custody. SP Ravishankar Reddy revealed the specifics, stating that on August 17, 2022, an unauthorised intruder entered into the home of P Sambaiah, the proprietor of a nursery in Rajupalem village, and stole Rs 17 lakh, along with mobile phones. Police at Rajupalem launched an inquiry after receiving a complaint. A Prakash, A Srinu, V Nagaraju, K Naga Sreenu, and A Pothu Raju were named as the defendants. The primary suspect, Prakash, entered Sambaiah's home at midnight, while the other three suspects remained outside to keep an eye on the residence. When Prakash saw the couple in the room, he tried to leave by threatening them with a knife, but they locked him in and told the police about it. When the police showed up, they discovered that Prakash had gotten out of the washroom through the window. The SP also disclosed that the defendants had been arrested in related instances at several police stations in the former Guntur district.
