Hyderabad: As part of its long-term efforts to make home furnishings more accessible and cheap for the Indian market, IKEA India has decreased pricing for many of its goods without a deadline. It applies to both of its retail and online promotions.
The company announced lower prices for a variety of products, including kitchen accessories, living room furniture, bedroom furniture, office storage, store and organise furniture, storage solutions, and children’s storage.
Several products’ costs have been decreased by as much as 39%, ranging from 16% to that much. Due to the fact that IKEA’s cheap costs are reflected in both their food choices and services, this endeavour is in line with their omni-channel consumer experience.
CEO and CSO of IKEA India, Susanne Pulverer, stated, “We always push ourselves to find new ways to keep product costs as low as possible without compromising on design, function, quality, sustainability, health, or safety.”
She listed a several strategies that aid IKEA in maintaining a competitive pricing point, including local sourcing, cutting-edge solutions and materials, building methods, distribution, and transportation.
