Hyderabad: Since Saturday night, three people have perished in separate traffic accidents in Hyderabad.
In the early hours of Sunday, a 21-year-old man from Balapur died after he fell from the car while attempting to avoid hitting a stray dog on Pahadishareef road. After attending a wedding ceremony, Syed Shahnawaz, a resident of Haroon colony in Balapur, was riding home on his bike when a stray dog crossed in front of him at the Wadi-e-Mustafa junction. “Shahnawaz slid his bike on the road as he rapidly used the brakes to avoid hitting the dog. After falling on the pavement, he suffered severe injuries and passed away right there, according to Balapur sub inspector Mahender. A case has been filed.
In another incident, a graduating student was killed on Saturday night in Narsingi after crashing into a road median.
K Tarun Kumar (18), a first-year B.Com student, departed on his motorbike for a job about midnight. Near the Brindavan Bar and Restaurant on his way home, Tarun reportedly lost control of his bike while travelling at a high pace and crashed into the centre line of the road. He hit his head on the pavement and was badly hurt. According to the Narsingi police, his death came quickly. A case has been filed, and an investigation is ongoing.
G Kondal Rao, a 39-year-old auto rickshaw driver from Abdullapurmet, was killed in a head-on collision with a motorcycle at LB Nagar. On the Nagole Road was Kondal Rao.
