No matter where they are coming from, all travellers travelling via China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Thailand before landing at any airport in India are required to have a negative coronavirus report.
Travel precautions for the coronavirus: India has released a brand-new list of precautions for travellers in the wake of an increase in coronavirus infections in China, Japan, the US, and other nations. Regardless of their country of origin, travellers travelling via China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Thailand before landing at any Indian airport are required to have a negative coronavirus report, according to the union health minister.
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, “This will also apply to transiting travellers through China, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand, and Japan regardless of their origin nations before travelling to any Indian Airport.”
In a letter to the states, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that the recommendations had been updated and went into force on January 1 due to the coronavirus infections’ shifting trends in several nations, including China, Singapore, Hong Kong, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, and Japan.
