Followers may send gifts to creators by using Stars to make direct purchases within the Instagram app.
These themed virtual gifts provide users the chance to earn money while artistically expressing their gratitude to producers.
Users may verify their eligibility on Instagram by visiting their Professional Dashboard.
“We aim to introduce presents to even more people soon,” the business said. “Gifts are one of the expanding number of ways we’re helping individuals make a living and develop their community on Instagram.”
In November of last year, Meta started testing this functionality “with a limited number of artists” in the US and also opened up access to subscriptions on Instagram to all US-eligible producers so that more creators may have a reliable income and build stronger relationships with their most devoted fans.
