The availability of a lot of data and contemporary technologies, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, would advance research.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated in New Delhi on Tuesday that the abundance of data and technology available in the current period will boost research.

As the 108th Indian Science Congress got underway in Nagpur, Modi practically addressed the gathering by saying, “India’s scientific community would assure a deserved place for our nation.”
He said that the discipline of data analysis is developing quickly, which is very helpful in turning information into insight and analysis into knowledge that can be put to use.

The Prime Minister said, “Whether it is old knowledge or contemporary technology, each one plays an important role in scientific research.”

He also emphasised the need of using multiple strategies to boost scientific procedures.

The Prime Minister emphasised the importance of women in science and stated that the rise in female involvement is evidence of the advancement of both women and science in the country.

He remarked, “Our approach is not simply that we should empower women via science, but also empowering science by the participation of women efforts made by science at all levels.

“Scientific efforts can only become significant accomplishments when they leave the lab and reach the actual world, when their effect extends from the top down to the bottom up, when they cover everything from journals to zameen, and when change is evident from research to everyday life.”

The prime minister also emphasised the necessity to support scientific research in order to create new vaccines as well as the importance of the scientific community in creating methods of combating emerging illnesses.

He discussed comprehensive disease surveillance for early illness identification.

He emphasised the necessity of all the ministries working in unison to achieve this. Similarly, scientists may significantly aid the LiFE (Living for the Environment) movement.

highlighting problems that Modi said that meeting India’s needs should be the source of all motivation for the whole scientific community, as it will pave the road for the advancement of science in the country.

The Prime Minister said, “Science in India should make the country Atmanirbhar,” stressing that 17 to 18% of the world’s population lives in India and that such scientific advancements should benefit everyone.

Every person should be proud, according to Modi, because the UN has designated 2023 as the International Year of Millets at India’s request.

He emphasised that efforts may be made to enhance India’s millets and their utilisation, and that the scientific community can take effective measures to decrease post-harvest losses using thewith the aid of biology.
