Next month, the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) will launch a statewide campaign called “Jagan anna is our future.”
Amaravati: The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) will launch a “Jagan anna is our future” campaign across the state next month as it prepares for the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections that will take place next year.
5.6 lakh party secretariat convenors and “Gruha Saradhulu” (household heads) were instructed by Chief Minister and YSRCP President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday to run the campaign assiduously from March 18 to March 26.
The Chief Minister instructed party cadres to visit 1.65 crore households during the campaign, going door to door, spending time with the families, and outlining the plethora of welfare programs being implemented by the state government, at an extended party meeting attended by MLAs, ministers, coordinators, regional coordinators, and district unit presidents on Monday.
They need to show the populace how, in contrast to the TDP’s control, the government is delivering transparent governance and advancing the state’s development.
He added that training for the first batch of party convenors and “Gruha Saradhulu” was completed in 387 mandals, and the training for the second batch will take place from February 14 to 19. The party secretariat convenors should coordinate the five lakh “Gruha Saradhulu” who have already been appointed, and the remaining ones would be appointed by February 16, he said.
When the training is through, he urged the MLAs to take part in party programs at the field level and inspire the party convenors and “Gruha Saradhulu” to do the same.
Reviewing the “Gadapa Gadapaku” mass contact program, he emphasized that it is crucial, and party officials should finish it within the allotted time by interacting with people and informing them about the welfare and development programs being carried out by the government.
Reddy advised the party leaders to move forward with the program informing the populace about the bogus claims made by the pro-TDP media, which aims to mislead them and discredit the government for political purposes.
The Chief Minister was informed that the MLAs have thus far visited six secretariats each month on average while completing the “Gadapa Gadapaku” program in roughly 7,447 secretariats.
In the upcoming MLC elections for the graduates and teaching constituencies, he urged the district party presidents, MLAs, and observers from the respective districts to cooperate and help the party candidates win.
