Hyderabad: The Allu Arjun-starring movie “Pushpa: The Rise” is still relevant a year after it was theatrically released worldwide, and not only in India.
Sukumar’s hit, which debuted in Russia last month, has made more than 10 million roubles, or almost Rs 12 crore.
After showings in Moscow and St. Petersburg, the Allu Arjun-starring movie had its official Russian-language release on December 8. According to the producers, the movie has been playing well on 774 screens with no decrease in the number of screens recorded to date.
‘Pushpa: The Rise,’ which is currently in its third week of distribution, is headed toward becoming Russia’s all-time favourite Indian movie. Additionally, according to unit sources, the Russian satellite rights to the movie would be sold soon for an additional Rs 2 crore.
Pushpa: The Rise is anticipated to beat all other Indian films in terms of box office receipts and create a new high given the present trend.
The movie “War,” starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, has so far earned the most money out of any Indian production that has been dubbed into Russian. It took in roughly 15 million roubles, or about Rs. 17 crore. Given the reception it has been receiving, “Pushpa: The Rise” is now likely to surpass this number and top all other Russian-dubbed Indian movies in box office earnings.
