As the captain of MI Cape Town in the SA20 competition, Afghanistan’s top legspinner Rashid Khan explained his philosophy and stated that he wanted to create an atmosphere where children can freely study and ask questions.
Rashid emphasised the need of fostering a healthy atmosphere for children to study and develop.
“We want to give kids a space where they feel free to study and ask questions. No matter the outcome of the match, if we generated two or three outstanding young people and gave them a stage to demonstrate their abilities, that would be a success for us, Rashid stated on Jio Cinema.

Rashid had stated that he would be better able to lead MI Cape Town if he served as vice-captain for Gujarat Titans in the 2022 IPL.
“I believe that having the opportunity to serve as Gujarat’s (Gujarat Titans) vice-captain in the IPL has been beneficial and has benefited me as a player as well. Focusing only on that is all that is necessary for you to ensure that you love your cricket and that you give it everything that you can “Rashid stated.
“I feel like there won’t be any pressure, and there’s excitement that there will be a lot of things I can learn as a leader and that will help me become a better cricket player as well, so I’m just looking forward to that,” the skipper said.
