The American technology giant Apple has been spotted expanding the size of its iPad Pro displays from 11″ to 12.9″ to 11.1″ and 13″, respectively. The new models may be released in 2024.
Display analyst Ross Young, according to a report by the industry news website GSM Arena, revealed the information. These iPad Pros are said to have OLED screens and may have the same overall physical dimensions as their forerunners despite the minor increase in screen diameter. Apple may choose to simply trim the bezels to make room for the larger panels.A 12.9″ model with a tiny LED display and an 11″ model with a regular LCD screen are both available in the current iPad Pro lineup. According to GSM Arena, if the rumour is confirmed, Apple’s most expensive tablets may regain feature parity in the display market with the 2024 generation.
In October, the most recent iPad Pro models with the M2 processor went on sale. Young first said that a 14.1″ iPad Pro will be released in 2023, but then added that the project is no longer being worked on.
While this may be true, other rumours have claimed that a 16-inch iPad is on the road, according to GSM Arena.
In the meanwhile, it’s anticipated that Apple will unveil its mixed reality headset in 2023. The business has been developing the product for a while. The headgear, which is expected to be introduced in early to mid-2023, is said to mix augmented reality and virtual reality. It is anticipated that it will be called Reality Pro or Reality One.
