Even though both parties were remaining coy about their intentions, the development fueled rumours that they were considering establishing an alliance.
Vijayawada: After negotiations that lasted for more than two hours, Pawan Kalyan, the leader of the Jana Sena Party, and N Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the Telugu Desam Party, insisted that it was “too early” for them to talk about electoral partnerships.
The actor-politician met Naidu on Sunday at the latter’s home in Hyderabad, allegedly to provide support after the TDP leader was prohibited from touring Kuppam due to a GO that forbade public gatherings on highways and roads. Even though both parties were remaining coy about their intentions, the development fueled rumours that they were considering establishing an alliance.
It should be underlined that the JSP leader, who is now allied with the BJP, has made it plain that he does not support permitting a split in the opposition vote to overthrow the YSRC. The saffron party, however, has reaffirmed that it has no desire to realign with the TDP.
Naidu stated that political coalitions are formed during election times and added, “There will be numerous combinations, but there might be divisions, as well. We had partnered with TRS in 2009, but in 2014 we diverged.
In response to the complaint that the Police Act was created during the British era, Ambati stated that the CrPC, IPC, and Evidence Acts were also created at the same time and underwent revisions as time went on.
He continued by pointing out that Section 30 of The Police Act, 1861, was also popular under Naidu’s rule. Ambati said that there is no huge surprise regarding news of an alliance between the TDP and JSP because they already have one. “JSP was exclusively created to serve TDP’s objectives. The TDP B-team is this. When Naidu is in difficulties, Pawan picks up a bundle and enters the scene, according to the YSRC leader.
He stated that “Pawan’s visit is not for extending solidarity or debating about defending the democracy,” and that the TDP and JSP will fight the elections together. It was only done to safeguard the declining TDP.
Gudivada Amarnath, a cabinet member and the minister of information technology, also criticised Pawan and Naidu. He further compared the actor’s visit to the TDP leader’s home to that of a “Gangireddu entertainer” (person who performs with a decorated bull and goes from one house to another before Sankranti).
Pawan greets BRS
“Any political party would have individuals from other parties joining,” Pawan said in a statement congratulating Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) on its admission into AP. TRS has the right to contest in AP because it chose to contest from across the country.
