K. T. Rama Rao, the state’s minister of information and technology, recently said that the government intended to build Telangana’s five IT centres.
There are existing IT centres at Warangal, Khammam, and Karimnagar, and more are planned for Nizamabad, Mahbubnagar, Nalgonda, Siddipet, and Adilabad.
The minister had also tweeted, “The state government is moving IT to District Headquarters as part of the 3 D Mantra – Digitize, Decarbonize, and Decentralize.”
The Nizamabad IT Hub is almost ready for an official opening, according to KTR.
The Nalgonda IT centre is still being built, and Mahbubnagar’s IT hub won’t open for another month or so.
He said that these IT centres have been implemented after great effort.
