The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet on Wednesday authorized the establishment of significant industrial facilities with a combined investment of Rs. 1.45 lakh crore in the state.
The creation of a new energy park with an investment of Rs 1.1 lakh crore over two stages and 1000 MW wind and solar projects received the go-ahead at the meeting presided over by Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
Taking a Rs 3,940 crore loan from Power Finance Corporation at an interest rate of 9.75 percent and approving a power price discount for granite industries by charging only Rs. 2 per unit were two other choices made on that day.
