The Ganga Vilas will include 18 suites and can accommodate 80 people, according to the official website.
On January 13, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch “Ganga Vilas,” the world’s longest luxury river cruise, from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh to Dibrugarh in Assam.
Where will it be covered?
In 50 days, the ship will travel 3200 miles and traverse through 27 river systems in Bangladesh and India. Tourists will be able to see more than 50 significant architectural landmarks, including world heritage sites.
Not only that, but “Ganga Vilas” will also travel via protected areas like as the Sundarbans Delta and Kaziranga National Park. Travelers will be able to take use of cultural events, live music, a gym, a massage, an outdoor observation deck, individualised butler service, etc. to make the trip exciting.
The world’s longest river cruise will set out on its tour in January of next year, tweeted Sarbananda Sonowal, the minister of ports, shipping, and waterways, in November. Ganga Vilas will travel 4,000 kilometres on the Ganga and Brahmaputra,
the two largest rivers in India, from holy Varanasi to Dibrugarh via Bangladesh.
