He responded to a query from BRS MLA Balka Suman in the Assembly on Thursday by saying that the steps the administration had implemented helped to increase income to the State exchequer.
The earnings from the selling of sand in the unified Andhra Pradesh during the government of the Congress was around Rs 39 crore, or roughly Rs 4 crore per year, from 2004 to 2014.
Sand sales produced an average of Rs 800 crore in revenue each year for the BRS administration, according to the Minister.
